We endorse humanitarian, educational, and economic programs that promote development and self-determination within developing nations and communities.
We support U.S. efforts to engage other international actors multi-laterally in matters of global concern.
Nationally:
We oppose any domestic policies or governmental actions that violate civil rights as protected by the U.S. Constitution and Amendments.
We support just economic and social structures.
We advocate policies that honor the right of all people to live with basic necessities: food, shelter, education, healthcare, and employment that provides a just, living wage.
Locally:
We respect cultural diversity in our communities.
We endorse peaceful approaches to conflict resolution for families and all community organizations.
We act together to ensure that national and international protections of the individual's basic civil and human rights are upheld.
Individually:
We affirm the value and dignity of every human being.
We encourage people to consider the impact of their decisions and actions on others.
We believe in the responsibility of each person to work for the common good and speak out against injustice.
We believe that peace begins in the heart of the individual, and we encourage people to cultivate compassion within themselves.
